About Branndan VanEgmond

Founder & S2C Practitioner

Hi there, I’m Branndan! Born and raised in Georgia, I’ve always loved the “underdog” – leading me to roles as a special education teacher, a health coach, and a mentor to disadvantaged kids. My path took a turn in 2021, when I read “Underestimated” by JB Handley, about how Spell to Communicate changed the life of a boy with autism.

I learned that non-speakers are receiving all the information around them – and that prior to previous assumptions, are also capable of creating the words to express what they’re thinking. Spell to Communicate (S2C) addresses the motor cortex deficit in non-speakers (the part of the brain that helps us express language via speech) and gives non-speakers the tools to finally express themselves.

Having a nephew with autism and having worked with kids with special needs for most of my life, I understood the implications of bringing language to non-speakers – and how truly life-changing this could be for so many people. Over the course of 2022, I went through S2C training to become a S2C practitioner.

As a S2C practitioner, my goal is to bring S2C to the Newnan, Peachtree City, Griffin, and Fayetteville areas – to provide language skills to non-speakers, and to inspire others to become S2C practitioners, as well.
